Attractions that are slightly further away include historical Somawathi stupa and Pimburuttawa zigzag reservoir that are accessible with a 1 hour drive. Moragahakanda dam of the beautiful and magnificent canal Yodha Ela accessed through Angammadilla Wana Udyanaya natural park is 1 ½ hours away.
